Who is Doctor Gordon Cameron?

Dr Cameron is a specialist in joint and muscle pain who works in private practice in Edinburgh and Glasgow. He offers assessment and treatment of problems in the spine, the joints and muscles - but from a non-surgical perspective. He graduated from Edinburgh University Medical School in 1985 and holds the Diploma in Musculoskeletal Medicine and Fellowship of the Society of Orthopaedic Medicine

He is a member of the British Institute of Musculoskeletal Medicine and a Companion Fellow of the British Orthopaedic Association.

For eight years, Dr Cameron worked in an NHS musculoskeletal pain clinic and continues to offer NHS services to a group of GP practices in South East Edinburgh. He has spent nearly fifteen years as team doctor to Scottish Premier League football clubs.

He is the co-author of a popular textbook on Injection Treatments and has contributed to other major textbooks. He has also published many journal articles on topics related to joint and muscle pain or injury. He regularly teaches on courses throughout the UK.

Dr Cameron also has extensive experience in medico-legal work and has acted as an expert witness since 1999. He has undertaken specialist training to develop the skills required of an effective expert witness both in the court room and in report writing.
