The GE Discovery ST Scanner consists of:

  • One integrated gantry containing slip-ring design CT X-Ray tube and multi-slice detector, 24 PET detector rings of bismuth germinate (BGO) crystals, high-speed acquisition electronics and PET image reconstruction system with high performance array processor system and reconstruction algorithms
  • Volume Viewer Plus for fast and flexible PET/CT review including PET/CT fusion
  • One patient imaging table with extended dual patient scan range
  • One integrated Operator Console
